El Mustapha Mouaddib received the Ph.D. degree in robotics and the Habilitation degree from the University of Picardy Jules Verne, Amiens, France, in 1991 and 1999, respectively.Since 2001, he has been a Full Professor with the University of Picardy Jules Verne. Since 1995, he has been the Head of the Perception on robotics group, where he is involved in research projects on omnidirectional vision and structured light. Since 2010, he has been the Manager of a big research program about building and using a virtual three-dimensional model of Cathedral of Amiens. (more…) His main research interests include computer vision and artificial perception for mobile robotics.Prof. Mouaddib has been an Associate Editor for the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation and IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems and an Associate Editor for the IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters journal (2015–2018).
